How did I get here? I gave myself a challenge, to come up with 150 images to depict Canada.

To find things from all over Canada and it’s diverse landscape, its diverse citizens and accomplishments. To speak to people across generations. Where grandparents can share memories with the youth. Where people can recall memories of their travel to different places in Canada or make goals as to places they would still like to visit in our great country.

An exhibit that makes one proud to be a Canadian.

Please check out my paintings on this site.

Trying to figure out how to get them seen, I decided I needed a website, took a course and created, www.yvettecuthbertartist.com, then read websites are followed better if they have a “Blog”, so here it is, so far not art related, lol.

Decided to just stretch my writing muscles and see what I had to write about. It will probably jump around from subject to subject, but I will try and categorize them so if only some interest you, you can easily find that type of theme.

I hope you enjoy my little life observations.
