Description: The goal was to add some color to the “Black” school walls. The inspiration was the ipod commercials at the time, action silhouettes. The hope was to involve the archiving class in researching images through the decades of importance to Portage and more closely to the school if possible. From these historical events, to think of an action pose to re- create with the drama group and costumes and involving the cosmetology class in hair styles, etc. Silhouettes, were chosen as we were aiming for the most cost effective signage possible.Being as the building was metal clad and not wanting to harm the surface any more than possible, panels were added to the surface..
